The Young Ivy Academy Before and After School Center, a one-stop shop, will offer daily English and Chinese classes for your child to enhance his/her language arts and complete homework in the most consistent, efficient, effective, and economical way. Some of the things the Young Ivy Academy will provide are:

• Homework
• Math enrichment and daily online practice
• English writing and reading enrichment (daily classes)
• Chinese language (daily classes)
• Spanish language
• Computer skills (taught by an in-house Microsoft and Cisco certified engineer)
• Art lessons¹
• Quality time with your child at home with less academically-related stress
• A convenient location

Pricing and Refund Policies

1. Tuition and transportation fees are due on the first day of each month, and a $2 late charge per day will be charged starting after the 5th day of the month.

2. Tuition and transportation fees are calculated and paid monthly according to contracted days per week. No refund for the contracted days on which students do not come to the center, such as No-School days and Spring breaks, as long as the center is open.

3. Termination of contract requires a one-month advanced notice and there is No Refund for the remaining days of the month that the advanced notice is given.

4. There is a $10 material fee per student per month in addition to purchased textbooks.

5. Additional fees of $10 for Minimum day will be charged for part-time students if they come to the center on that day earlier than regular schedule (3 PM).

6. Additional fees of $20 for No-School day will be charged for part-time students if they come to the center on that day earlier than regular schedule (3 PM).

7. Full-time students can come to the center without any additional charges as long as the center is open.

8. For part-time students, credits can only be used within the same month and can’t be carried forward to the next month.

9. Credits cannot be transferred to siblings or anyone else.
10. The center closes at 6:30 PM each weekday. There will be a late pickup fee charged $1 for every minute after 6:35 PM.

11. Center is open all year round, except on Memorial Day (5/25), 4th of July (7/4), Labor Day (9/7), Thanksgiving (11/26 – 11/27) and Christmas (12/25 – 1/1).
